  • Q. How can I buy Scentsy Products?
  • You can place an online order, phone order, or contact your local Independent Scentsy Consultant.


  • Q. What payment methods do you accept?

  • Q. What is a Scentsy Bar or Scentsy Brick?
  • They are a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to traditional candles.


  • Q. How does the wax melt?
  • Scentsy’s beautiful ceramic warmers use a low-watt light bulb that slowly melts the Scentsy Bar or Scentsy Brick, filling your home with one of more than 80 unique, long-lasting scents.
    The combination of a Scentsy Warmer with a Scentsy Bar is known as a Scentsy System.


  • Q. How long will a Scentsy bar Last?
  • That depends on a number of factors, including the size of the room, the Humidity and temperature in the room, and the number of sections used at one time. Generally a Scentsy bar will last approximately 40 to 80 hours.


  • Q. What wattage of light-bulb do the warmers use?
  • Our Full-Size warmers use a 25 watt, the mid-size use a 20 watt, and the plug-ins use a 15 watt light-bulb. The light-bulbs can be purchased at any store or you can order them online by clicking on ‘warmer replacement parts’.


  • Q. How do I change the wax in the Scentsy warmer?
  • Carefully pour liquid wax back into its original or disposable container if you wish to reuse it. Wipe the dish out with a paper towel and you are ready to pop in a new scent.

    For a Scentsy Plug-In Warmer, turn the warmer off for 30-60 seconds and carefully twist the ceramic part off the base. Then pour the wax into its original or disposable container and use a paper towel to wipe the wax out.


  • Q. Do Scentsy products contain phthalates?
  • No. Scentsy products are made with fragrance oils that do not contain phthalates.


  • Q. What kind of wax do we use?
  • Scentsy uses a food-grade petroleum based wax. Scentsy chose this wax because of its superior scent loading ability, melting point and firmness. Scentsy looked into other wax bases but could not find a good quality wax that held the scents. Because we don’t burn the wax we don’t have to worry about releasing harmful chemicals like a traditional wicked candles, & tea lights. Our candles have no wick, no match, no flame, no soot, no smoke, and no wax evaporation!


  • Q. How many cubes should I put in my warmer?
  • A scentsy bar has 8 individual cubes that break apart. Add 1-2 cubes to the full or midsize warmers and use 1 cube for the plug-in. Once you have added your cubes sit back and enjoy the wonderful aroma that will disperse thru out your home.


  • Q. How hot does the wax get when warmed?
  • Scentsy Bars in Scentsy warmers melt at 125 degrees Fahrenheit when used with the correct bulbs (25-watt for Deluxe Scentsy Warmers, and 15-watt for Scentsy Plug-In Warmers) The wax will not burn children or pets.


  • Q. How long can I leave my warmer on?
  • As long as you feel comfortable leaving it on. Think of it as a lamp, you can leave it on 24/7 if you would like.


  • Q. Oops! I accidentally spilled wax on my carpet. How do I get it out?
  • Start by scraping as much wax out of the carpet as you can. Then cut a grocery paper bag to make it flat. Place over wax spot and with a warm (not hot) iron move in circles on top of the paper bag. Lift the bag occasionally to see if the wax is coming off and change the paper often. If this does not work you may want to contact a professional.


  • Q. How often does Scentsy release a new catalog?
  • Twice a year…one in the Spring (March) and one in the Fall (September). Please contact me if you would like me to send you a catalog by mail.


  • Q. How long until delivery?
  • Approximately 2 weeks from the time you place the order.


  • Q. How much is s/h?
  • Orders shipped to a location within the Contiguous United States:
    With a retail value of $.01 - $49.99, shipping will be $5.00.
    With a retail value of $50.00 - $149.99, shipping will be 10% of the product total.
    With a retail value of $150.00 or more, shipping will be FREE.

    Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam or Puerto Rico:
    With a retail value of $.01 - $34.99, shipping will be $7.00.
    With a retail value of $35.00 - $149.99, shipping will be 20% of the product total.
    With a retail value of $150.00 or more, shipping will be 10% of the product total.

    Orders shipped to Canada:
    With a retail value of $.01 - $29.99, shipping will be $6.00.
    With a retail value of $30.00-$199.99, shipping will be 20% of the product total.
    With a retail value of $200.00 or more, shipping will be 10% of the product total


  • Q. Who do I make my checks payable to? (Scentsy, the Consultant, or Hostess?)
  • Checks need to be made out to the Consultant. At home parties, you as the consultant, may ask the guests to write their checks out to the Hostess, and then the Hostess writes one check out to you the consultant. For customers paying by check, payment is made using the Consultant's Debit/Credit card after the customer’s check clears. Scentsy does not charge consultants or customers to process credit cards. We accepts VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover.


  • Q. Can my Hostess save their Hostess Rewards for later use?
  • No. The Hostess must use their 1/2 price and free products earned at the time they submit their party or they will lose their benefits. They do not carry over.


  • Q. Why should I join Scentsy?
  • Scentsy is one of the fastest growing Candle Businesses, offers one of the Best Compensation plans, and you will be joining a team that will provide you with the support and training you will need to grow a successful business.


  • Q. Can I sell online?
  • Yes. Independent Consultants can sell Scentsy products online through their personal replicated Scentsy website. All online advertising is limited and subject to approval by the home office. Please refer to Scentsy


  • Q. Can I sell on eBay?
  • No. In order to maintain the quality and integrity of Scentsy products, Scentsy Consultants are prohibited from selling on eBay or any other auction type website.


  • Q. Can I sell at fairs and events?
  • Yes! Scentsy Independent Consultants are allowed to sell Scentsy at local events and expos. You can elect to purchase inventory to resale at the events or take orders only. The choice is yours. Policy is only one Scentsy consultant per event, the first to register and pay for the event.


  • Q. Can I sell in retail stores?
  • No. A Consultant can have a display of one warmer with promotional materials for the purpose of generating leads or orders, but absolutely no retailing can be done in a fixed retail establishment.


  • Q. Can Consultants purchase Scentsy Products at a discount?
  • As an Independent Scentsy Consultant, we pay for our product upfront and then are issued our commission on the 10th of each month. When you enter in your own party sales you get to collect the hostess rewards and consultant commission.


  • Q. How are Scentsy Consultants paid?
  • Scentsy will issue you a pay card. The card / account will be loaded electronically with earned commissions by the 10th of each month or the next business day if the 10th lands on a weekend.


  • Q. Are there any monthly or quarterly sales requirements?
  • The policy to remain an active consultant you must place at least one $150, or more, order in a quarter. Every time you place a qualifying $150 or more order, the quarter is reset.


  • Q. Does Scentsy ship to APOs and FPOs?
  • Scentsy does not ship to APOs or FPOs. We use UPS to ship all of our product, and they do not deliver to APO's & FPO 's.


  • Q. How much is a Scentsy Starter Kit?
  • Scentsy Starter Kits are $99 plus shipping and handling.


  • Q. How long does it take to get my Scentsy Starter Kit?
  • Scentsy generally ships starter kits within 72 hours of receiving your application. Starter Kits are shipped via UPS. Click Join Scentsy to get started!
